Ortho Essentials for Phase II and Full Orthodontics
When you receive full braces, it will be very important to keep your teeth clean. You will be provided the tools and products that you will need in your Crest Oral-B Ortho Essentials Oral Health Kit. The booklet in the kit will tell you how to brush, floss, and rinse the way we talked about. A Score Your Smile Card is enclosed to keep you on track! That way you can see for yourself just how great you’re doing.
At each visit, we’ll check your oral health and let you know how well you are doing. We’ll also tell you if there are any areas that you need to work on. This information will be reported on a score card to take home.
Sparkling Clean Certificates
Sparkling Clean Certificates will be given to you to take to your dentist or hygienist during each cleaning appointment. Your cleanings should be more frequent, every 3-4 months, during orthodontics. Bring in your signed or validated certificate and you will be on your way to redeeming prizes!
Preserve Toothbrush and Care Kit
It is just as important to maintain impeccable hygiene routine at home even if you’re just starting phase I treatment. Expanders, retainers, and partial braces need care and attention too. You will be provided with all the necessary items to assist you in cleaning and comfort; including a Preserve Toothbrush.
